5sos album review

If you haven’t heard of 5 seconds of summer, then where have you been? There the hottest thing to come out of Australia since Kylie and Jason and have already stormed the charts all over the world.

For those who aren’t too sure who they are ill introduced them to you. There a four piece band with the members; Michael, Aston, Callum and Luke. They toured the world with One Direction and soon became a household name. Their debut single, “She Looks So Perfect” when starlight to number 1 and soon after their second single “Don’t’ Stop” went to number 2.

P.S I’ve only reviewed the first seven songs because again I’m too lazy to do them all. So here is 5 seconds of summer.

1-      She Looks So Perfect.
A loud, energetic, summer banger. The only words to use to describe this amazing song. It went to number 1 in the UK and rightly so too. I LOVE IT.

2-      Don’t Stop
This song is quite similar to she looks so perfect but just as energetic and amazing it its own way. The middle 8 section reminds me a bit of Green Day, in the way it’s sung, which gives a 90’s grunge feel.

3-Good Girls
As soon as it started playing. Blink 182 was the first thing that came into my mind. Their voices have that similar tone, which instantly reminds of them. It’s the type of song you want to head bang to at a festival.

4-Kiss me Kiss me

This song has a bit more rocker, edgier feel, with loud guitar and drum sounds. If you want to reminisce about your teenage years then this is the song to listen too.

5- 18
A typical rock band song about wanting to be with an older women. Again massive rock beats.

6-Everything I didn’t say
This song is defiantly a wave your hands in the air, holding a lighter moment. It kind of reminds me of an old school Busten track, which I really like and is something completely different to what’s in the charts at the moment.

7- Beside you
The lyrics to this song are so lovely and quite deep and meaningful for young boys. But their so good at putting music to lyrics and lyrics to music which is quite rare to see in bands like this.
