Frizz control

I just want to start off my saying i am so sorry for not posting anything in ages. I've just been so busy lately with moving house and having uni work to do, i just haven't had the time to sit down and really write something worth reading about. Also the fact i have no internet or a laptop at my mums to actually write something on my blog.

So now i have finally the time to sit and have something to actually write about. Lately iv'e been noticing that my hair at ends have been really dry and quite frizzy so i headed down to boots to find a product that would sort that problem out. There are so many products out there that claim they work miracles in your hair so it's really important you find the product that works best for you.

That's when i found umberto giannini frizz. This is an intense conditioning mask which smooths and conditions your hair leaving it so smooth and shiny. I use this once a week after shampooing and conditioning my hair. You just apply the product to the ends of your hair and rinse.

The texture is creamy and you can feel it working on your hair instantly. It leaves your hair feeling soft, smooth and shiny and really makes the ends of your hair non-dry and frizzy as the name suggest. For £6 i would defiantly recommended this if your looking for an intense conditioning treatment.

Life goals

In just over a months time, i will be turning twenty years-old. I will no longer be a teenager which is pretty scary. It seems that only yesterday i was 11-years-old starting secondary school for the first time, standing with my best friend at the gate waiting to enter a new chapter.

Now a brand new chapter will be beginning in my life, a chapter to some people known as your twenties. But what does it mean when you turn twenty? Do you suddenly feel older because your no longer classed as a teenager? or does it give you sense of meaning in life as an official adult.

I will still be a student having only one year left at university so at least i still have that to hold onto. But once that is over i will be left to my own devices and let out into the real world. A world were i will have to find a job probably Monday-Friday earning my one money.

Having fort about this revolution of turning twenty, I started to think about what I want to achieve in my twenties and what i would like to happen.

1- I need to pass my driving test so i can gain independence and freedom to go and do what i like.

2- Without sounding desperate or cheesy, it would be nice to meet someone who could potentially be a boyfriend. (maybe).

3- When i graduate i would like to be in a position where i am in a job i enjoy and am earning enough money to get me by.

4- I want all my friends and family to be happy and healthy all the time.

5-At some point in my twenties i would like to have a place i could call my own. Even if it is with friends, a parter or on my own.

6- I need to travel to Ireland at some point!!!!

7-I would like my blog to be even more successful than it is now.

8- To be happy and enjoy life.

writters block

In the careers of most writers, there comes a time when they get "writers block". This is were your mind just goes completely blank and all creativity you once had goes straight out the window. Unfortunately this has happened to me. When I started this blog I wanted to write as much as possible, but with the pressure of university and the fact I work on weekends I knew this wasn't going to happen. That's when I narrowed it down to two days a week, which are a Tuesday and Friday, as those are they days I am able to write for.

My life aside from university and work, has also been extremely busy. My dad has had a bad back for a while and is undergoing surgery as I type, therefore I have had to help out a lot at home. Not only that but I am moving house from where i live when i'm with my mum which is taking longer than expected.

This has resulted in me not being able to post on days I want to. Another thing which as caused to have writers block is the fact I can't think of anything to write about. I love all things fashion, beauty and make up, therefore I write about it, because it's something I feel passionate about . The trouble with having a blog about beauty and fashion is that the products I own don't change that often unless I go out and buy it myself. Whereas the bloggers who get paid to run a blog get sent stuff from companies and are then able to review them giving their opinions on what they thought. As well as the make up side, the fashion section is harder for me to blog about. I absolutely love clothes and experimenting with different styles. The only problem is I don't have any expensive camera equipment or anyone to take the pictures for me for that matter.

When my life gets back to normal and I get rid of this writers block, I will back to my normal ways writing about anything and everything i think will be interesting and something anybody would want to read.

New make up pieces

Nearly a week ago me, my sister, mum and friend went on a little shopping spree to boots. I haven't had a massive splurge in boots in ages so felt the time was right to go out and buy a massive butch of beauty products i've been dying to try out.

The first one is the Bourjois 123 perfect CC cream. I brought this after watching Essie Buttons no make up make up look video and instantly wanted to buy it. I used my first application the day after i had brought it and as soon as i put it on i knew i had made the right choice. Applying this onto my skin made my skin feel smoother, clearer and just made my face look radiant. It's the perfect foundation to wear if you not so confident wearing no make up at all with still giving plenty of coverage without looking cakey. I wear this when at work, or just working around the house,

The next new product i tried was the collection nude eye shadow palette in grey. I had seen these on many beauty bloggeres blogs and vlogs, all saying how amazing they were and wanted to try them out for myself. I didn't want to buy one that was similar to one i already have so i decided on the grey version. When i first used it the hype was defiantly worth it. The colours are so pigmented they could easily be mistaken for something so much more expensive. There so worth getting if your on a budget and just want a really nice, decent eye shadow palette then go for these. They come in various colours and at only £3.99 each you can't go wrong.

The last product that I brought and tried out was the Loreal la nude palette in rose. Again with the collection eye shadows there was a lot of hype from beauty bloggers saying how much they liked this product, therefore i had to try it for myself. It is a really nice palette with a mixture of shimmer and matt shades all in pink, rose colours. The pigmentation is really nice and does last a good while. I would defiantly get these if you haven't yet. I was a sucker for the packaging with this as it's in a nice, slim, black case with a long mirror inside.
