One Direction- Made in the A.M album review

It's back to that time of year again where One Direction release a brand new album. Sadly for the fans of the boys it's going to be the last one they make as their about to embark on a two-year break. (Sad face emoji). But never fear because although they may be about to take a well deserved break their music will forever live on through the technology of our Ipods, phone or the traditional way of a CD.

1D's filth album Made in the A.M is truly their best one yet as it really signifies everything the boys have gone through in the last five years since coming third on the X-Factor in 2010. The sound is more mature and shows their softer side. The sound itself is full of soft melodies and pure, heart felt emotions and anthems. The album contains seventeen tracks that are all worthy of a listen.

1-Hey Angel. The first song on the album is lyrically beautiful and the big drum beats give it a emotional feel. Each verse contains the lyrical "hey angel" with a question style response such as "do you look at us and laugh when we hold onto the past"? This conversation style lyric makes it feel as a listener that their directly singing to you giving you that closeness to the band.

2- Drag me down. This song was the bands first single for the album where in went number 1 in over 90 countries. The video was shot in the space station NASA where the boys are in training to go to space. Talking about the song, this is a real party anthem where you would defiantly be dancing to the song in front of your mirror in your bedroom. The repetitive rhythm makes it extremely catchy that you can't help but sing along.

3-Perfect. This song was the bands second single from the album and again was extremely successful. This is a more toned down song compared to Drag me down but equally just as amazing. As some people have suggested the lyrics contain details from the relationship between Harry Styles and Taylor Swift which gives a more interesting listen.

4-Infinity.This song is one of my most favourites to listen to. I love the repetitive guitar riffs at the beginning and the song as a whole. The song shows of Harry's rustic voice perfectly. Brilliant song.

5-End of the day. This again is another great pop song that very catchy and very easy to sing along to.

6-If I could fly. This is by far my favourite song on the album. It's completely stripped back compared to any other song thieve written. The piano melody is wonderfully played and shows the boys can sing a song without the loud, electric instruments.

7-Long way down. This song is fairly similar to end of the day but again a great addition to the album.

8-Never enough. This song shows how not innocent the all four boys are as the fast paced lyrics give it a feel of mischief and boy trouble. The instruments played together give a jungle like vibe reminding me very much of  the Jungle book.

9-Olivia. None of us know who "Olivia" is but I can but a bet on it that it's about one of the boys past relationships. Just like the song before the lyrics and music are very fast paced and is a lot of fun to listen to.

10-What a feeling. Not too much to say about this song. It's very typical of One Direction in a good way. Gives something different than a traditional boyband song.

11-Love you goodbye. The way the lyrics and the music go together reminds me of something by One Republic.

If I continue to write what I think about the rest of every song we would be here forever, so I am going to just some up the rest of the album. I really, really like this album. It's defiantly my favourite album from One Direction and is everything you want is a good pop album by a hugely successful boyband. 100% worth listening too.

The style factor

Saturday and Sunday night to me means only one thing and that is the X Factor. I love coming home from work, getting in my pj's, sitting with a cup of tea watching wannabe pop starts perform live on TV to millions of people.
As well as watching the contestants grow as people and performers another of my favourite items from watching the X Factor is the fashion. As soon as those large doors open and the judges walk out onto the stage the first thing I do is witness the amazing creations worn by the current X Factor judges Cheryl Vernandz Fersini and Rita Ora. To me they are fashion queens as well as pop star royalty so seeing what they are going to be putting together fills me with joy.
This week was no exception as Cheryl and Rita walked onto the stage looking like gorgeous princesses.

Cheryl opted out for a gold, glittery frock that shimmered all the way to her feet. I love this outfit because it's everything you want in a dress especially for the time of year were coming into. Its gold, glittery and screams beautiful. The dress shows of her amazing figure and is very 1920's inspired and shows off her sophistication. The outfit in the picture Is what she wear on Sunday night designed by designer Stephane Rolland. T

The next outfit is worn by Rita Ora also from last nights episode. Her outfit came from a ready-to-wear company called Acne Studios. This ensemble is completely different style to Cheryl's. I can only describe it as mixed between an over sized blazer and a mini dress. The gold, black and blue go really nice together and accompanied Cheryl's frock very nicely. It gives a sense of masculinity as well as sophistication and feminine.

These next outfits are what Cheryl and Rita wore on Saturday nights episode of the X Factor. Again I think the judges are excelling themselves this year in terms of fashion. They haven't put on anything ridiculous and are sticking to what they look amazing in. I absolutely love what Cheryl wore. It's elegant and the clean, white colour gives it that feminine feel. The shoulder pads also give that 80's retro vide. This is something I would defiantly wear if I had something to wear it to.
Now lets talk about Rita's amazing ball gown. It's such a typical, girly girl dress. Something you might wear to prom which I just love. The subtle pink colour is so elegant without being too in your face and really shows of Rita's youth and beauty.
