July favourites

I'v never done a monthly favourites before, but that's because I'v never had enough products in one month to actually do one. But the month of July Iv been loving a lot of products that I'v discovered and loved a lot of new products that I'v never used before and have also loved using in the month of July.

The first one is the Dior Miss Dior perfume. I'v been wanting a new perfume for a while as the ones that I'v got were running out and felt like it was a good time to get a new one. I also got some money for my birthday so I was able to go out and get a nice, new, decent one. And I'm so happy I got this one. Its smells absolutely amazing. I'm not very good at describing the smell of a fragrant but I can say is that It's very girly and sweet and defiantly worth getting. I'v never had a Dior perfume before so I'm glade I brought this one as I just love it!

Now this one you may have saw me write about before in my hair routine post. This if you didn't see is the tangle teezer brush. For those that don't know I have quite curly hair and since I was little I struggled with brushing it as it hurt quite a bit. But now this god send has came into my life and I will be using this for a long time. It works so well for my hair and I just love it!!!

The next thing I'v been loving is the maybaline dream sun blusher and bronzing powder. This is such a good product as it is a two in one product. It has a bronza and a blusher in one which is just amazing. It goes onto the skin really well and works perfect with the rest of your make up.

Another thing I'v been loving is the Rimmel wake me up concealer. I get dark circles under my eyes so using this really helps. It goes onto the skin nicely and blends perfectly with your foundation and powder.

The last beauty product I'v really liked is the Maybaline baby lips lip balm. I get very dry lips and putting this one throughout the day really smooths and moistures the lips making them really soft.

A TV programme that I'v really liked this month is a programme called "I wanna marry Harry". This show is so so funny. Its about a man who looks exactly like prince Harry and ten American Women. They get told that Prince Harry is looking for a potential partner and  they are going to be in competition for Prince Harry. And the American girls believe everything he is saying. They have fake body guards and paparazzi. And It's just so funny and a must watch.

Sunglasses collection

As the weather in the UK is starting to look a lot more like well... summer. I thought I would do a blog post showing you my sun glasses collection. Sunglasses are my favourite accessorie to wear with an outfit. It not only looks nice but its also really important to protect your eyes from the sun if your outside for a long period of time.

To start with I'm going to be honest and just get it out that these are not real Ray Bans. Their fake. My cousin got me them for £20 from someone he knows that sell them. But oh well. I don't think you can tell the difference. I would say these are my go to pair to wear when your out and about.
This one here was a TOTAL BARGAIN. I got these pretty pastel coloured sun glasses from Primark for wait for it. £1! Yes thats right these blended pastel coloured sunglasses were £1. I couldn't believe my luck when I found these because there are a pair very much the same from Asos for £20 so that was a great buy.

This pair of sunglasses are my favourite!!! Their so different from the other pairs that I have and think their so unique. Not everyone can pull these off but luckily they suited me so I was a happy Bethany. I call them my John Lennon sunglasses because they remind me of the ones he used to wear way back in 60's. They have circular shaped lens and has a gold bar in the middle. These were only £3 from Primark. Sunglasses from Primark are so good not only their various designs but they last forever.

These ones are just your original aviator sunglasses that look chic and trendy in my opinion and I really like them. These were £2 from again Primark.

everyday skin routine!!

This post is all about my everyday skin routine. It's so simple and easy, that it only requires FOUR products!

The first thing I use is the Simple kind to skin smoothing facial scrub. I just fill up a sink full of warm water and just get my face nice and wet. I then squeeze some onto my hand and rub all over my face using circular motions. After doing that I then just rinse my face with a wet flannel and gently dry using a towel. This leaves my face feeling really soft, clean and fresh.

The next thing I do is use the simple purifying cleansing lotion and the smoothing facial toner. The first step is to get a cotton pad and dab a bit of the cleansing lotion and just rub that all over your face. The next step is to use a second cotton pad and dab the facial toner onto the face just like before. Ever since using this I have noticed a massive difference in my skin. It's so easy to do and takes little effort. I also use this at night to give the best results. Also there only £2.99 each so not too expensive.

Now last but not least its the moisturiser. I use the Nivea refreshingly, soft moisturiser cream. This so so light and blends into the skin really nicely and is so so soft afterwards.

Managing curly hair!!

For today's post I thought it would be a good idea if I showed you how I manage my crazy, curly hair. This is because ever since I was really little I've struggled coping with it as I didn't have a clue what products were around to help keep it looking smooth and frizz free. I hope this helps if there's anyone out there with the same problem.

First of all I start by using the V05 smoothly does it shampoo and conditioner. This is great for making your hair look sleek and, smooth and freeze free. I would defiantly recommended this if you have curly hair and your using straighteners afterwards.

This next product may not seem like a lot, but this has been a god send for me. For years brushing my hair has been a painful experience and now that no longer applies. This my friend is the tangle teezer brush. This has been amazing since day 1 of using it. It glides through your hair perfectly and gets those nots out like they were not even there. I can not recommended this enough it is amazing.
The next thing I do to my hair is use the John Frieda freeze-ease hair serum. Just three drops of this into your hand and rub into the mid length to the ends of the hair. This controls the freeze at the bottom of your hair anf helps to control the thickness of your hair.

The last cream product I use is the Phil Smith curly locks control cream. This again just controls the curls in your hair and just makes it look a lot nicer and less frizzy.

Before blow drying my hair I always use a heat protector spray, just to protect it like you would if curling or straightening your hair.

Here is a photo of the end product. Its not the best picture but it might give you a bit of an idea of how it looks after using the products.

Everyday make up picture

Decided I had enough time to upload a picture of me wearing my everyday make up. I hate taking pictures of myself as I'm really self conscious of the way I look. But never mind here you go,

Everyday make up

I thought for this post I would show you the make up that I wear on a everyday basis and will follow with a picture of me wearing the make up on Monday as I didn't have time today. (:

For my face I start by applying the Rimmel London Match Perfect, light perfecting radiance foundation in soft beige. Then I use the Rimmel London Stay Matte long lasting pressed powder and the Maybaline Dream Sun bronzing powder and blusher.

For my eyes I use the Rimmel London waterproof exaggerate eye definer and the Rimmel London scandaleyes show off mascara. And finally for my lips if  I'm just around the house and not going anywhere I will wear the Maybaline baby lips lip balm.

5sos album review

If you haven’t heard of 5 seconds of summer, then where have you been? There the hottest thing to come out of Australia since Kylie and Jason and have already stormed the charts all over the world.

For those who aren’t too sure who they are ill introduced them to you. There a four piece band with the members; Michael, Aston, Callum and Luke. They toured the world with One Direction and soon became a household name. Their debut single, “She Looks So Perfect” when starlight to number 1 and soon after their second single “Don’t’ Stop” went to number 2.

P.S I’ve only reviewed the first seven songs because again I’m too lazy to do them all. So here is 5 seconds of summer.

1-      She Looks So Perfect.
A loud, energetic, summer banger. The only words to use to describe this amazing song. It went to number 1 in the UK and rightly so too. I LOVE IT.

2-      Don’t Stop
This song is quite similar to she looks so perfect but just as energetic and amazing it its own way. The middle 8 section reminds me a bit of Green Day, in the way it’s sung, which gives a 90’s grunge feel.

3-Good Girls
As soon as it started playing. Blink 182 was the first thing that came into my mind. Their voices have that similar tone, which instantly reminds of them. It’s the type of song you want to head bang to at a festival.

4-Kiss me Kiss me

This song has a bit more rocker, edgier feel, with loud guitar and drum sounds. If you want to reminisce about your teenage years then this is the song to listen too.

5- 18
A typical rock band song about wanting to be with an older women. Again massive rock beats.

6-Everything I didn’t say
This song is defiantly a wave your hands in the air, holding a lighter moment. It kind of reminds me of an old school Busten track, which I really like and is something completely different to what’s in the charts at the moment.

7- Beside you
The lyrics to this song are so lovely and quite deep and meaningful for young boys. But their so good at putting music to lyrics and lyrics to music which is quite rare to see in bands like this.
