Hey guy's i hope everyone had a lovely Christmas eating tonnes of food and spending loads of time with family and friends.
I haven't wrote a blog post in a while so i decided to do a what i got for Christmas. This by all means is not me bragging with what i got as i'm very grateful by all the presents i got from my family.
First of all i got this gorgeous clutch bag from my mum. It's in the style of the ace of hearts card which i just love.
The next one is the Locast pink perfume set from my auntie which smells amazing. I've had this before and it is one of my favourite smells.
Here is a group of presents starting with the body shop body set which is so nice and smells amazing. There is some body shop hand cream, rasberry shower cream, owl socks and from my friend a mug with english breakfast tea bags. Also my favourite of them all the Urban decay naked palette number one.
And last put not least some jack wills body sprays from my god father.
Christmas decor
Just like everyone who celebrates Christmas anywhere in the world, I put up my Christmas decorations. After spending about two hours untangling the tree lights, I finally managed to get them apart and place them around the Christmas tree.
This is the time of the year I find most exciting, as putting up the decorations really puts me in the Christmas spirit. Because of the colour scheme in my living room, the decorations are all glitter and gold which makes me really happy!
I love everything to do with Christmas, from the decorations, the shopping, the dinner and of course the presents. I hope you like the images of my Christmas decorations and hope it puts you in the Christmas spirit.
Winter
Winter is the one season you either love it or you hate it. The days are darker, colder and the nights seem like they last forever. I'm one of those people who love and hate winter. I hate it because the weather turns freezing and you have to wrap yourself in coats, scarf's, hats and gloves.
Saying that I do love winter fashion. The ankle boots, the long sleeve skater dresses and I'm able to have my hair down without getting too hot. It's also a good excuse to stay in with a steaming hot chocolate, covered in cream and sprinkles, watching the TV and a good film.
But the without a doubt the best thing about winter is that Christmas is just round the corner. I love the rush of Christmas shopping down the streets, the lights and decorations which cover the hight's of buildings and houses and the whole build up to Christmas it's self.
Although I am nearly 20 years old, the feeling of waking up really early on Christmas morning and seeing heaps of presents all with your name on it.
So wherever you are in the world, I hope you have lovely Christmas filled with joy, happiness and love.
One Direction album review
Can you believe it's been FOUR years since five ordinary boys auditioned for one of the biggest TV talent shows in the UK and became one of the biggest boybands in the world right now?
After the release of three of their albums, (which were all very successful), they have now released the anticipated forth album, titled four.
The sound of the album is completely different to anything else One Direction have done on their previous albums, but it works a treat. It's loud, massive and full of great anthems which are perfect to perform live with.
In each and every song the boys voices all remain on point and have grown stronger and stronger in each album. Harry's in particular has improved so much since their first album Up All Night and the toughness in his voice suits the tone of the songs very well.
The songs in particular have all matured as the boys sing about girls, love, sex and heartbreak. My favourite songs on the album are; Ready to Run, Night Changes, Steal my Girl, Where do Broken Hearts go, No Control, Fireproof and Fools Gold.
It's an all round brilliant album and i would defiantly recommend having a listen.
Here is a list of all the songs on the album.

Beauty product reviews
Recently i've brought a few beauty products so i thought it would be a good idea to write a small review of them and tell you what i thought of them. The first one is the Barry m natural glow palette 2. This is basically a duplicate of the Urban decay naked palettes but for less that half the price. So if your looking for a really nice, everyday eye shadow palette but don't want to spend loads of money on one then this is just what you need. It comes with some really nice neutral colours, some matt and some with a little shimmer for nights out with your friends or family. It also comes with a small pink, red blush. The eye shadows themselves apply really nicely, there easy to put on and last all day. I would really recommended this for a everyday eye shadow palette.
The next product is the Loreal true match foundation. This has been talked about quite a lot and i wanted to give this a go and see what the hype was about. I have to say i really, really like it. It's actually one of my favourite foundations and i've only used it a few times. It's just so nice to apply and it feels so smooth and soft when putting it on your face which i've never had with any other foundations i've used. It gives a nice coverage but doesn't make your face look like your caked in foundation.
These next two products i have a love hate relationship with. One of them is the Soap and Glory carbon black eye pen and the Benifit they're real push up liner. I love eye liners and the way they make a make up look, look on your face. But i'm just absolutely rubbish at applying them. I blink constantly which makes the line go wonky and i cant get the line on the lash line, i just end up with a gap between the last line and my eyelid. If your able to put eye liner yourself, i have no idea how you do it. I'm useless. If i was okay at putting eye liner on then i would probably be raving about these products but i simply need more practice. They only good thing i can say about them is they last all day. They do not budge one bit. So if your looking for a long lasting eye liner then these are the ones.
Nail varnish review
Recently I brought a copy of this months Glamour magazine and in that issue you got a free nail varnish. Every time a magazine has a free gift with their issue I'm more likely to buy it and am more excited that usually.
In this issue of Glamour they were giving away a nail polish by Nailsinc London in the shade Tate. This a gorgeous colour perfect for autumn and winter. It's a deep, dark red colour and I really, really like it. If your like me and are not the best at painting nails, then this is a great nail varnish to use and it's really easy to apply and you only need one coat. It is also really quick at drying and only takes 2-3 minutes after application to completely dry.
I think this make of nail polish can be pricer than others so if you don't want to pay the high price for the polish then Glamour is only £2 and you get the nail polish free. Even if you don't like Glamour you can just keep the polish and you only have to pay £2.
The new Next
This past week I have been on work experience at my local newspaper in Northampton. Hence why I havn't wrote a blog post in a while. Therefore while I was there I got the chance to attended the opening of the new Next store in the Grovner centre in Northampton, so I thought I would write a review for the store.
The shop which was there before Next was one of my favourite high street store's Miss Selfridge. This took over the area from that store and then carried on over the other side.
I arrived at the store at 9:30am where the store was due to open at 10am. Already there were eager customers waiting outside ready to explore the new awaiting.
The store itself is a lot bigger than it looks on the outside. All the stock is spread our across nicely throughout all departments and there was even a lady handing out free glasses of Bucks Fizz.
As Christmas is approaching the shop was decorated in all it's Christmas delight. Sparkle and glitter took over all available space and flashing lights on every level hanging from the shelves.
In terms of what stock was out on the floor, wasn't too bad. They had plenty of basics and a large area for denim. They even had the odd Christmas jumper. They had a women's, men's, children's and home department. It is on the pricer side but if you fancy treating yourself or buying someone a Christmas gift then you cant go wrong.
Being a football fan
For those of you who don't know, I'm an Arsenal fan. A fan of a Premier League football team. For the readers who only like the beauty and fashion side and couldn't care less about football. You don't know in till you've been to a football game. I've been going to watch Arsenal in North London since I was four years old and still go now with my dad at nineteen. When you've grown up watching a football team who your dad and whole family love and support, it's hard not to fall in love too. Therese no better feeling when the team you support is winning, But it's a horrible feeling when your team are losing.
I went to watch Arsenal V Hull on Saturday and on paper we should of beat them. Despite all the injuries Arsenal are a far bigger club compared to Hull. But to have been winning at the start of the match to draw 2-2 by the full 95 minutes, is not the best result. I'm not saying everyone should go to a football game.I was so nervous throughout the game, I felt physically sick. I nearly had to watch the rest from outside the stadium. But if your intrigued by the whole concept on a football game. Then go. If you can take the bad language and banter between the other team then you will have a great time. I promise.
Autumn
Autumn is without a doubt one of my favourite seasons. The changing leaves, the colder weather and the thousands of layers around my body. The thought of coming in from university out of the cold and into a nice warm, cosy house fills me with joy. So here are a few of my favourite things to do in Autumn and Winter.
A good book to read is a must and Sophie Kinsella's books just does that.
Anther thing I love to do during the Winter season is a gorgeous hot bubble bath. Relaxing with a burning candle, nothing compares.
I also love Autumn/Winter fashion. Skater skirts and a long knitted scarf is my all time favourite outfit to wear.
ITunes Festival!
On the 28th of August, the day before I went on holiday, I received an email from ITunes saying that I had won two tickets to the Itunes festival to see Ed Sheeran. I couldn't believe it. I was so excited to go and see him live as his one of my favourite singer's and I had previously saw him at v festival two years ago.
As soon as I got back from holiday I started counting down the days in till I would see him live. If you don't know, every September the Itunes festival puts on a concert at the Roundhouse in Camden everyday of September and luckily I won last year and got to see Ellie Goulding my favourite singer of all time. That year I took my sister and this year decided to take my cousin.
The day finally arrived where me and cousin jetted of on the train to London to see the amazing Ed Sheeran live. After queuing for two hours we were finally allowed to enter the roundhouse, As I've already been to the Roundhouse I knew what to expect. But still the Roundhouse still manages to amaze me. The inside of the building is just beautiful. There's a area for people to stand and an area at the top for people to sit if they wanted to. There were neon blue lights around the arena which made it look even more gorgeous.
After what seemed like hours the support act finally presented himself on stage. He sat at his piano and just belted the most amazing voice. What made it even better was the fact that his Irish. His name is Foy Vance I had never heard of him so I didn't know what to expect. But the whole crowed really enjoyed his performance and he is very talented so I would defiantly recommended listing to him.
Then the time finally arrived when Ed Sheeran came on stage and gave one of the best performances I have ever seen live. He was truly amazing and sung all his great hits and the songs on his new album X. He has so much energy on stage and just doesn't stop for a second. He knows how to please a crowd and put on such a good show, Even in the songs he raps in, he still doesn't take a breath and just sings all the way till the end of the show. I would 100% recommended going to see him live because he was just so so good!

Is it ever too early?
With the start of the Autumn season begging to approach us, it's time to put away the daisy duke shorts and our bright, neon coloured bikini. Before we know it the leaves will all have turned orange and the ankle boots will soon be making a reappearance. And before you know it, Halloween will have been and gone and wait for it,,, yes that's right Christmas will be on it's way.
Before you start saying, "it's only September, we have ages yet". Yes I know Christmas couldn't be any further away, but when I was at work at the weekend. One of my colleagues had placed a sign upon the till surface letting customers know that "our Christmas shop will be ready for Monday 22nd of September". This then got me thinking, when is too early to start thinking about Christmas?
Bearing in mind, Christmas is one of my favourite times of the year. I love (sometimes) the cold weather, the warm, hot drinks at Starbucks and walking round the beautifully decorated shops, buying all the lovely presents for my friends and family. Not to mention the amazing Christmas dinner of home made Yorkshire pudding and freshly cooked roast potatoes. There couldn't be anything better than that.
But when I saw the sign giving the information to customers that by Monday the shop will be decorated in tall Christmas trees, shiny tinsel and fake, white, powdery snow. This message only made me realise that without actually saying it, the sign applied that you need to start your Christmas shopping at the date being shown. When I see something like this, I imminently start panicking. I start running through my mind what I'm going to get people and when I'm going to get it. Because it's not like I've got three whole months to get them??
If your like me and start panicking at the thought of Christmas shopping, just take a step back and just say to your self, there is three months in till Christmas day. That is plenty of time before you have to start your Christmas shopping. If it makes it any easier, why don't you plan what your going to get people and how much your going to spend on each person. This will give you a rough idea about what to get people and remember it's the thought that counts.

Tunisia
As you may already know, at the end of last month, I went on a gorgeous holiday to the beautiful country of Tunisia. I had such a wonderful time, I thought I would share some of the amazing pictures I took while I was there. The first one is of me and my dad. It's probably my favourite picture of me and my dad. We were just relaxing by the pool enjoying the lovely sunshine. My bikini is a from Matalan and when they were selling them they came in a variety of colours.
The next three are images of the beach which was part of the hotel we stayed in. Because of this it was quite a small beach but was still equally as beautiful as any other beach in Tunisia. The sand as you can imagine was so warm on my feet and it was just a really calming place to relax. They also did jet skiing and paragliding which is where your strapped to a para shoot which is attached to a speed boat and when it moves you get taken into the sky. my brother and sister did this but I was too scared and was just happy to watch.
The next to pictures are of the sky while on the plane as we were getting into Tunisia. They were so pretty that I had to take a picture of them.
These last few pictures are just of the pool and me sunbathing. The pool was really nice. There was a bigger pool which was the main pool and then a smaller pool on the other side of the hotel which had FOUR slides and everyone including mums and dads where going for it on them. It was so nice to see grown adults enjoy themselves with the their children as that's what holidays are all about. The pictures of me sunbathing are not the most flattering but I'm not to bothered as while your on holiday you shouldn't be worrying what you look like and just enjoy your time.
