Twenties Girl and Can You Keep A Secret?

There's not a lot of books i read that keep me gripped as much as Sophie Kinsella does. The last few days I have been transfixed in the words and imagination that kept me reading and thinking of nothing else.

The hard back stories I'm talking about is "Can you Keep a Secret"? and "Twenties Girl". You may have read them many times before, but when i got these for my birthday which was only a week ago, i have not been able to put them down.

I say this every time i read a good book that i absolutely love, but these are defiantly one of my favourites written by the genius Sophie Kinsella.

Can you keep a secret is about a girl who works for a big drinks company and when she gets sent to do some work in Scotland things go horribly wrong. She is terribly frightened of flying and when the plane goes into turbulence she things her life is over and starts telling every little secret about her to a stranger. But is he a stranger?

Twenties girl is a little more complicated to explain on here, so my advice is to just read it because it just brings out every emotion possible.

Friends birthday

So on Friday 16th May it was my friend claire's 19th birthday. To celebrate we went to a place in Milton Keynes called Bistro Live. At this place you have a three course meal, a disco and your even allowed to dance on the tables!!

For this night out, I actually wore a dress that I wore for my 18th birthday last year but haven't worn in since so I thought why not wear it again. Its a coral pretty pink colour that is about the knee. The shape is kinda like a  tulip and what you cant see there is a  glittery part on the colour and a gold, thin belt round the waist.

And here is a lovely picture of all us girls!!

Outfit of the week!

For this week's outfit of the week I was looking all through pictures of the Hollywood stars at this years Cannes movie festival, taken place in the South of France. But there wasn't really an outfit that stood out for me. Nothing that made me think wow!

But then out of no where, I saw an outfit that I thought was absolutely divine and was bang on trend. This was worn by actress Jacqueline Jossa who plays Lauren in Eastenders. She wore this on Good Morning Britain talking about the latest story line taking place in Eastenders.

Bright star: Jacqueline Jossa looked stunning as she left the Good Morning Britain Studios on Thursday morning
I love the way she has teamed the 50 style floaty skirt with the pink pastel coloured crop top. Everything about this outfit is right on trend and looks perfectly on her. The shoes are my absolute favourite. I love everything about the chunky heel and the white colour which again is a must ware this season.

Music Documentaries

At the moment I am obsessed with documentaries about bands and music artist. I don't know what it is about them but I just find them so interesting to watch and am fascinated by the success and the individual struggles each member of a particular band have faced.

My favourite one by far is the One Direction movie This is Us which came out last year. As a fan of the band I was really excited about them making it. I loved the way they shown the band as a whole from their audition on The X Factor to how they  all cope with the level of fame they've gained with on their own.

Another movie I'm obsessed with which is completely different to the first one is The Stone Roses:Made of Stone. This was similar to the One Direction Movie where they shown how the band at the beginning to how they rose to fame. For those who don't know  know, the Stone Roses are a indi type band from the 80's. A little bit of an early Oasis. My dad is massive fan of these so it was nice to watch it with him and reminisce some of their songs.

Outfit of the week!

It's that time again where I pick my favourite outfit worn by a celebrity this week. As you may have known it was the Met Cala  this week in New York, where the most recognisable celebrities in the world attended the precocious event. Such as the Beckhams and Cara Deleviginge. This made it even more difficult to pick from.

But one persons outfit really stood out for me, which was a dress worn by Kendell Jenner. This  dress just looks divine on her and suits her figure to a T. I also really love the fish tail bottom as it makes the dress more unique. The dress itself looks like something from a top desginer store but actually it is from British high street store Topshop. Which makes us love it even more.

Outfit of the week!

So I'v decided to make a regular feature on my blog called outfit of the week. This is were if iv seen a celebrity wearing an outfit that I think is amazing and  I have to shear with you. So as my first outfit of the week post I'v chosen this outfit worn by High School Musical star Vanessa Hudges.

Here this is the outfit that Vanessa is wearing at The Coachella festival at the end of April. I really like this outfit as it portrays a boo hoo style which i really like. She's wearing some denim shorts, a floral ruffle crop top, a long sleeveless white jacket thing, round lend sunglasses, a flower head band and no shoes.

I hope you like this feature and make sure you tune in next week for another outfit of the week.

Meet The Vamps album review

If you don't know already, The Vamps are a four piece rock pop band consisting of James, Connor, Brad and Tristan. (Just think of an early Mcfly and Busted.) Only teenagers themselves, it's hard to believe the incredible talent they behold with their instrument playing and song writing.
They only formed as a band three years ago in 2011, and have already got themselves three top three singles, a number 2 album and toured with the likes of Mcfly, Tyalor Swift, Selema Gomez and The Wanted.
Having listened to the album millions of times, this album is a must have for 2014, filled with amazing, catchy, sing-along tunes.
Also, I decided to review just seven out of the fifteen songs just because it would have taken me too long to write and I'm being lazy haha, But take it from me, the rest of the songs are brilliant and can honestly say I'm a massive fan of The Vamps.

Track 1- Wild Heart
This song is defiantly one for dancing around your room too singing with your hair brush. The catchy melody and sweet worded lyrics makes it one of my favourite songs on the album. I would describe it as clean cut, pop genius.

Track 2- Last Night
This song is the third single from the album and the lyrics defiantly describes a typical teenage, infested party with the lyrics "think I might have kissed someone" which I think we have all said once. It's fast tempo and quick moving making it perfect to jump around too.

Track 3-Somebody to You
This again is another easy song that you would listen to while chilling in your garden in the warm sunshine, drinking an ice cold lemonade. The lyrics are also quite mature for teenage boys which I think makes it really relatable.

Track 4- Can We Dance
This song was the first song The Vamps released which got to number 2 and rightly so. It would be amazing to see live as the song creates a fun filled atmosphere which will have the audience going completely crazy too.

Track 5- Girls on TV
This song is quite similar to the other songs on the album but has a slightly different twist as it have a jamacian vibe. This comes across through the style of singing, front man Brad petrayes just amazingly.

Track 6- Risk It All
This one is a lot calmer than the others and less chaotic. The melodies are slower and is one to wave your arms too.

Track 7- Oh Cecilia
This song is a cover originally written by an American singer called Paul Simon. This song is covered perfectly and Brad got the lyrics spot on.
