There's no denying that the last twelve months have been a bit of a crazy one. I completed my first year at University, meet some amazing people, had a week's holiday in the beautiful Tunisia and even meet a few England under 21 football stars.
But among all this was happening to me, my friends have all done the same have also completed their first years at university and some are even starting their first years this year. This has meant while we have all been so busy, we havn't seen much of each other.
So last night before one of my friends heads off to her first year at university, me and three others went to a lovely meal to say goodbye. And I have to say it was so refreshing to get together, and just have a nice chat and catch up. Because after I finished my first year at uni, I spent the majority of my evenings in bed watching TV. So to go out and socialise was just really nice.
This got me thinking that while were all growing up and moving to different directions in our life's, we mustn't forget to take the time to see our friends. Even if it's just for a coffee or a trip to the cinema's. Because at the end of the day their the ones waiting for you back home.
