Trendy Trousers
During the week at work I try my hardest not to wear jeans. This is because I feel like I wear them all the time. You just grab them out of your wardrobe and put on any top and a jacket if needed. It's the safest option if your not sure what to wear, you've woken up late and you don't have time to plan an outfit. Therefore as an alternative I've opted for trousers. Plain, patterned, tailored you name it I've got the garment hanging in my wardrobe.
If you find yourself in the same situation with your wardrobe here are a few of my favourites and what I wear them with.

Spain 2018
This time of the year is my favourite. Everyone is of on their summer holiday's jetting off to exotic countries around the world. Myself and my boyfriend went to Marget De Mar Costa Brava in Spain. A part of the country I had never been before, very close to Barcelona which unfortunately we did not get a chance to visit. The island itself was beautiful, quiet and quaint. Plenty of activities such as the water park, a visit to the already mentioned Barcelona and many of bars, restaurants and shops to purchase some memorabilia.
Despite being very delayed getting there we had a wonderful week staying at the Tropic Park Hotel which I really enjoyed and was very impressed by. The service was of a high standard, the rooms very pretty and clean with the best shower in the world!
Here are the a few of the very little number of photos I took.
What I got for my 23rd Birthday
Twenty Three is such a funny number. Your still young but it’s an age where you start thinking about the future, moving out, getting your own home, marriage and then kids. These are all aspects of live that need to be thought about and taken into consideration. I turned twenty three on Sunday and I have to admit it does feel different to being twenty two, even if they are only a year apart.
My birthday fell on the weekend of the royal wedding so the few days was spent celebrating both occasions. On the Saturday I went to a pub garden watched the wedding on the TV and ate a lovely lunch. The weather was just perfect with warm sunshine and blue skies. In the evening I had my family round for a Chinese take away. This was eaten in the garden with a couple of beverages.
My actual birthday on the Sunday I opened my lovely gifts in the morning which included a Tiffany necklace with my initials engraved on the back. I then went to Starbucks with my friend and drank a coffee. The evening was then spent with my family were we ate a very nice BBQ dinner.
I've but some images below of the lovely gifts I received from friends and family.
A spring in your step
Just when I thought Spring had finally arrived, the temperture has now gone back down to below 10 degrees. We had three days where the sky was a bright blue and the
the sun was shinning down on all the gardens in the UK. In such a short amount of time everyone seemed happier, motivated and ready to get their summer hats
on. But in true UK style the sky is now grey and people's gardens are covered with a covering of grey cloud.
It's amazing what a little but of sunshine can do to people's mood. We can freely leave the windows open allowing a light breeze to flow through their
homes, sit in the garden and enjoy some yummy food or sit outside of a pub garden enjoying a cold berverage. I finally thought I got put my Winter jumpers away and step
my lovely summer tops but here I am today wearing a jumper. In all fairness it is only April, meaning there are still at least another four months for the weather to improve.
Therefore I thought it would be a good idea to give some tips on how to improve your mood even if the weather can't.
1- Wear your favourite piece of clothing. Nothing makes me feel better than a new item of clothing. Even if it's a pair of jeans that fits your figure perfectly
and gives you a peachy bum.
2- FOOD! If food can't lift your mood I don't know what can. Cook yout favourite lunch to take to work, school, college or uni.
3-Movie night. Host a movie night with your friends along with pop corn and sweets. You don't need good weather to watch a good film.
These are my top three tips to lift your mood through hoprrible weather. Hopfully we won' need these tips, the warm weather will do this for you.

My newest make up bits
Every so often I get these urges to enter my local Boots and purchase anything that looks like something I might like. This good be a primer, lipstick or new foundation. A few weekends ago this happened. I went in picked up a few bits and felt a whole lot better. Getting started, here is what I bought.
Benefit Precisely My Brow
I've used this product before and absolutely loved it. Therefore I decided to treat myself and purchase it again. It's so easy to use and to get right. I'm not the best at putting make up on my eyebrows so having something like this is a massive help. When applying the product I use tiny strokes in order to get a precise precision. It looks natural and doesn't give me the slug eye look.
Maybelline Big Shot Mascara
You seriously cannot go wrong me a Maybelline mascara. The majority of their mascaras are amazing. They give length, volume and the perfect amount of separation.
Maybelline Eraser Eye
If you have read my blog before then you will know how much I struggle to cover the dark circles under my eyes. I have tried various different concealers but have not found the product that really lightens my under eye. I can't believe it took me this long to try this cult classic, but now I have finally landed on the band wagon. I have seen a real difference with how my under eyes look. I now do not look so tired and dull all the time, my eyes have come back to life.
Loreal back to bronze
I have to admit, bronzer is one of my favourite make up products. It makes anyone look so much more healthier, glowey and radiant. This new one by Loreal gives that real sun kissed glow while looking natural at the same time.
Loreal blush
I decided to pick up another blusher as the weather is now getting warmer and sunnier, I feel it's nice to add a little colour to my very colourless make up. It's a really nice pretty pink that will suit all skin tones.
The month of March
If I am going to be completley honest there is not much to report on this month. There hasn't been any exciting trips or discoveries to inform you about.
Therefore I am going to use this opportunity to write about a particular thought that went through my mind over the weekend. I went out for dinner with a friend and we both realised it has been a long time since we have actually meet up and had a good old catch up. We went to the cinema's last month then the time before that
was new years eve, which to me is a ridiculous time to see your friends.
Ever since we all left university and got full times jobs the months have just flown past and before we know it the month of April has arrived. It is so easily done and we see this time and time again with group of friends as we all get older. Were so used to seeing each other five times a week during school so going from that
to a couple of times a year is completely bonkers.
With this in mind we have decided to start making more effort to see each other. This Sunday we are going to a cinema event to watch the Lion king and Dirty Dancing then on Monday evening going out for some delicious food.
I am so glad we have come to this conclusion as it has made me realise that seeing friends is so important as it allows us to catch up and be updated on each others lives. I would defiantly recommend having regular meetings with friends and encourage to get in touch with old friends who you perhaps haven't spoken to in a really long time. You may even start a whole brand new friendship. You could meet up for a coffee, go out for some cocktails or have a take away evening at someone's house. The opportunities are endless so make them count.
Hair Care Routine
I have been on a mission pretty much all my life trying to find the perfect mix of hair products to tame the frizzy mess. I do feel like I'm almost there and since I've gotten older I have learnt what works and doesn't work for my hair type. Due to my hair being fairly curly I try and keep my style as simple and easy to manage as possible. Below shows the my current hair routine which so far I am loving.
I wash my hair using the Loreal Elvive Nourishing hair oil. It contains argan oil which works perfectly for my hair. It's thick, creamy and smells amazing. Once I've washed my hair I leave it to try in my towel for as long as possible as it is quicker to blow dry. I then add the Treseme Botanique Hydrating Mist which makes it easier to brush through using my tangle teezer. I also add a small amount of the John Frieda Frizz ease through the ends of my hair and continue to blow dry. Once this is complete I add the holy grail of hair products which is the Garnier The Sleek Perfecter Oil. I literally use this on my hair everyday. It just takes the frizziness out of my hair.
